Specialist, Innovation Engineer
About this position
Responsibilities
• To support the work from Innovative materials manager, in the area of new Innovation project management, corporate with business partner and project stakeholders.
• To continuously explore medium to long term innovative materials related to product development roadmap or jewellery manufacturing techniques.
• To build relation with external business partners, maintain and manage information for support Innovation Materials project team.
• To ensure the material information in PLM is up to date, correct and ready for mass scale production.
• To manage the material movement along new product development cycle until the hand-over phase to relevant teams.
• To corroborate relevant stakeholders within and across functions and material suppliers to deliver results. Take accountability and ensure effective collaboration with all shared services functions.
• Support innovation pilot execution and change management of I&PD team.
Requirements
• Strong knowledge in materials science or materials engineering, specially in metallurgical of precious metals for Jewelry manufacturing.
• Strong experience in Innovation project management with scientific knowledge base in precious metals or Jewelry materials fields (Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium etc.) and Surface coating technology and Engineering process in the jewelry industry.
• 5 Years Experience in new develop innovative materials for new product development.
• 3 Years Experience in research and development of new material in any industrials.
