About this position

Responsibilities

• Be the quality gatekeeper for new product designs and innovations; set quality standards and ensure best practices are incorporated.
• Ensure quality standards are closed-loop communication to the C&S organization. Such as Pre-Production, Production, Crafting & Supply Quality(C&SQ), I&PD and Customer related.
• Collaborative with Designer Team (HQ) & I&PD to align new product standards & Design intent.
• Distribution of standardized quality package (quality instruction, specifications, quality acceptance guideline,) to Crafting & Supply (C&S) Quality related on time as planned.
• Hand over Finished Goods info (Finished goods weight, Inspection time) to C&SQ, Pre-Pro, costing team, and Design team (HQ) to ensure the database are accurate and standardized.
• Establish Initial Master chart for raw material and finished goods.
• Management Finish goods inspection (OEM-ODM) and Raw materials quality receive process activities (Gemstones, Metal-nonmetal part) on time. To ensure quality is aligned & escalation at the right times.
• Ensure New Quality standard package & related document readiness before Mass production orders start.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, and functionality, and lead in the development of new inspection instruments and inspection techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, Jewellery, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2 years experience in a Manufacturing Process, Quality Control, and Quality Management (in-house quality and supplier quality).
• Experience in new product development in the manufacturing field is an advantage.
• Jewellery background or understanding of international jewelry standards is an advantage.
• Have a good knowledge of Product Performance & Regulation & Quality Control Management.
• Strong knowledge of Quality of jewellery or fashion, Quality standards, Quality assurance, and Quality improvement and can set up new procedures and standardization.
• Have a good inspection skill and a deep understanding jewellery manufacturing process.
• Good cooperation skills with key stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication, multifunction working skills, and Leadership skills.
• Project management skill is an advantage.
• Ability to identify, analyze, options evaluation and drive the solutions.
• Proficient in Power BI, PowerPoint.
• Good Command of both written and spoken English.
