About this position
The Head of Information Technology (IT) is responsible for leading the IT team, developing IT strategies, ensuring secure and reliable IT infrastructure, managing software projects, and overseeing vendor relationships to support the company's goals.
Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor the IT team, ensuring they are motivated, productive, and equipped with the necessary skills.
• Develop and implement IT strategies that support the company's goals and objectives.
• Ensure the IT infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable to meet current and future business needs.
• Manage software development, implementation, and integration projects to support business operations, including upgrade of software and implemented ERP modules.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Oversee relationships with external IT vendors and service providers to ensure service delivery and compliance with contracts.
• Identify and implement emerging technologies that can enhance business performance.
• Work with senior management to identify IT opportunities that align with business strategy and drive innovation.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives to modernize and improve IT services across the organization.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Head of IT, or similar senior-level IT role.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
• Experience in budget management, strategic planning, and vendor management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
