About this position

This position is accountable for packaging productivity projects in SEA (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore…). Packaging productivity may cover size change, structure change and others technical support. Packaging development may include new packaging material, new packaging function, new packing format and new packing engineering introduction or reformulate current ones.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver new packaging development projects for Asia Pacific key country market include NPD, renovation, promotion, gifting on time and support for quality improvement to reach company target.
• Demonstrate detailed understanding of packaging development process and the knowledge of packaging enabling technologies to make a significant contribution to project objective and outcomes.
• Work as a business partner, provide General Technical Support to business.
• Develop project scope in response to business initiatives. Active participant in developing, recommending, planning and delivery in line with business process.
• Work with global team for new technology applicate locally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in packaging development, preferably within food industry.
• Proven experience with margin improvement initiatives and plant trials.
• Excellent understanding of project management principles and tools.
