Testing Manager
About this position
Responsibilities
• Defining the testing strategy and approach.
• Planning and scheduling testing activities
• Managing the test team and resources.
• Ensuring the quality and completeness of test deliverables.
• Reporting test progress and result to stakeholders.
• Identifying and mitigating risks related to testing.
• Exploring more advanced aspects of testing management
• Test automation to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Conduct performance testing to ensure the software meets performance requirements.
• Knowledge of Java Programming, LabVIEW and Visual Studio.
• Supervises the Test Engineering team consisting of Engineers and technicians.
• Manages the development, implementation and maintenance, calibration of test equipment for manufacturing of products to achieve cost effectiveness and product quality.
• Responsible in meeting test engineering department Test yield target, test equipment utilization.
• Provides detailed analysis on test report and acts on test problem encountered accordingly.
• Works closely with production and planning people to ensure meeting the required delivery schedules.
• Coordinates and work closely with product development teams to ensure design for testability of new products.
• Perform other duties that maybe assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience in Test Manager capacity, and work in PCBA manufacturing
• Good math skills with the ability to create and analyze reports, spreadsheets
• Proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
• Leadership and organizational abilities
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving attitude
• BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus.
• Excellent command of English language (oral and written).
• Able to train, coach and develop team members.
