About this position

The NPI Engineer at OSI Electronics will be responsible for overseeing the New Product Introduction process for PCBA, ensuring high-quality manufacturing solutions and supporting product development from initial design through to packaging.

Responsibilities

• NPI on PCBA process starting from SMT - Back End - Box Build (Solder Paste, SPI, PnP, Reflow Profile, W/S Profile,
• Ray review, Conformal Coating, Box Build and packaging design)
• Understand to read and use software to see Gerber file
• Know how to design solder paste stencil and well experience deal for jig and fixture design
• BOM creation and review the system
• Target oriented to achieve the KPI goal base on time line given
• Able to design the process step starting from scratch till packaging
• Know how to work on RFQ
• Well known on documentation work and reporting such as: Control Plan, PFMEA, 5 Why, 8D, GR & R, Cpk, Validation report, DFM, DFT, First Article Report

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor Degree graduates in Engineering
• Experience in same position min. 4 years
• Proven work experience in process engineering
• Excellent technical skills
• Knowledge of process related standards
• Experience in process simulations
• Working knowledge of process engineering software packages CAD or AutoCAD skills
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• To be able to establish process flow, equipment and method
• To be able to provide process documentation and operating instructions
