About this position

The Advance Test Technician position at OSI Electronics involves supporting the Advance Test & Firmware Engineer in various technical tasks related to circuit testing and prototype development, contributing to the company's manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist and report to Advance Test & Firmware Engineer
• electrical wiring, debugging fixture, support commissioning and spare part inventory
• Assist in designing functional circuit tester development
• Assist in building prototypes for proof-of-concept testing. Including part design, sourcing, circuit construction, automation, and software development.
• Support all advanced test department activity with the proper documentation
• Perform FCT commissioning and FCT handover to related department
• Perform other duties that may be assigned.
• Additional task related with employee job responsibility
• Working knowledge of function circuit tester development and quality assurance principles
• Working knowledge of machining techniques, including the ability to read fixture drawings.
• Knowledge in programming basics (Embedded systems in C/C++ and Python preferred)
• Ability to read electrical schematics, electrical wiring, solder, operate tester equipment.
• Ability to operate instrument systems and laboratory test equipment.
• Ability to work in a team environment

Requirements

• PC-based computing experience (word processing, spreadsheet, etc.).
• 1 year of in technical environment and same field.
• Experience with automation systems or robotics.
• Experience in instrument development or repair is helpful.
• Good command of English both oral and written
