About this position

The Senior Sales Engineer in the Digital Business Unit is responsible for driving strategic business growth, developing sales strategies, and managing key customer relationships to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Planning
• Identify and set strategic business growth, based on local market conditions and drivers, company initiatives, competitive landscape, and local business relationships to maximize revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction.
• Create sales strategy and develop integrated product solution marketing plan for all solutions opportunities.
Business Development
• Participate in development of business, sales planning, and growth strategies and develop Sales Proposal with sales pipeline to meet budget.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers by attending networking activities, conduct marketing activities, customer meetings, proposal development and customer presentations to deliver outstanding customer value.
• Maintain awareness of competitor information and participate in industry association in accordance with company policy.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product management) to develop proposals and present solutions that meet client needs.
Relationship Management & Account Management
• Develop and manage relationships with key accounts in the industrial automation industry.
• Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs/issues and ensure their satisfaction with solutions provided.
• Regularly engage with clients to assess their requirements and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
• Manage and coordinate with key vendors and partners to gain competitive advantage through creation and development of customer in selected vertical markets.
Sales support
• Collaborate and work closely with Application Engineers to ensure smooth project development & implementation which may include risk assessment and provision of technical solutions to meet customers’ needs.
• Manage the sales process to ensure customer requirements are properly qualified prior to investment of resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree Engineering of Electrical (or Electronic)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or solution engineer or project sales
• Having experiences and knowledge of automation, instrument, semiconductor, vision processing and IOT
• Able to travel as necessary
• Good command of English
