Senior Executive - Supply Chain
About this position
The Senior Executive - Supply Chain is responsible for managing supply activities to ensure efficient stock levels, cost-effectiveness, and timely supply across supply management, purchasing, customer service, vendor management, warehousing and logistics.
Responsibilities
• Key contributor to supply chain functions, including daily SCM operations, delivery fulfillment, preparation of sales and finance reports, logistics budgeting, monthly/quarterly physical inventory counts, inventory reconciliation, and execution of inventory-related transactions in the ERP system.
• Responsible for vendor management, including compliance and qualification assessment, contract review and negotiation, vendor performance appraisal, and collaboration with 3PL partners to optimize transport and warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with the sales team to analyze market trends and provide data-driven recommendations to improve delivery lead times, enhance demand forecasting accuracy, reduce costs, and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Support continuous improvement of supply chain workflows by monitoring and refining processes across all functions.
• Analyze key supply chain metrics to enhance processes and delivery performance.
• Provide recommendations to address performance gaps and collaborate with the HQ team to drive targeted improvements in delivery outcomes.
• Participate in S&OP business meetings to build a consensus on the business plan, effectively managing diverse perspectives from various stakeholders, and ensuring the execution of agreed-upon action plans.
• Conducts and participates in monthly/yearly internal and external audits at the warehouse and reports to Line Manager.
• Ensure custom compliance for Thailand.
Requirements
• Degree in Logistics or related field.
• 5 years of experience in an international and commercially oriented company with logistics responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience in a transport/forwarding company and/or warehouse provider.
• Proven experience and track record in coordinating complex operations involving Customs, Transport and Warehouse providers.
• Good knowledge of import/export documentation and regulation documentation, regulation and warehouse/ERP management systems.
• Able to work with the various INCO terms on international trade lanes.
• Familiarity with Anaplan is a plus.
• Strong negotiation skills and purchasing expertise.
• Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in the local language is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of an ERP system.
