Transportation Supervisor
About this position
Responsibilities
• Plan, schedule, and oversee the daily transportation operations to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Optimize routes and fleet utilization to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain standardized document templates and procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all equipment-related activities, including maintenance records, calibration certificates, and loaner agreements.
• Monitor equipment performance against established KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct cost analysis of equipment demos and loaners to provide valuable insights for management decision-making.
• Prepare regular reports on equipment utilization, maintenance costs, and other relevant metrics.
• Provide guidance and support to team members in troubleshooting routine equipment issues and resolving technical problems.
• Contribute to the development of the CAPEX strategy by providing recommendations and insights based on equipment needs and performance data.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in transportation management, fleet management, equipment control management, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge in medical business and regulatory would be advantages.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, related tool).
