Production Pharmacist
About this position
The Production Pharmacist is responsible for supervising and coordinating manufacturing activities, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company standards, while also focusing on product quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate manufacturing activities on the production floor, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company SOPs/WIs.
• Monitor equipment of process parameters to maintain product quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the production planning team to align production activities with overall manufacturing goals.
• Review and approve batch records to ensure accurate documentation of all manufacturing steps.
• Verify that all procedures have been followed and that the product meets quality specifications.
• Implement and oversee quality control measures during the manufacturing process.
• Conduct in-process check and sampling to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that manufacturing equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working condition.
• Supervise packaging activities, ensuring that products are packed according to specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Verify the accuracy of packaging materials, labels, and batch codes.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing and packaging processes with implement the best practices.
• Train and mentor production and packaging staff, ensuring they are well-versed in SOPs/WIs, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the department.
• Ensure that all manufacturing and packaging activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including quality control, quality assurance, and supply chain, to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations during manufacturing and packaging activities. With report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with the formulation team to develop efficient and scalable manufacturing processes for dry forms, such as tablets or capsules.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 0-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical production or relate field and Fresh graduate are welcome.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issue related to the manufacturing process, including equipment-related challenges.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and the ability to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing cycle.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Thai and English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledgeable about process optimization techniques and the ability to implement efficiency improvements.
• Strong understanding of batch record review and approval processes.
• Knowledge in operating and overseeing pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment for dry forms.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, capable of addressing production-related issue promptly.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning.
