Finance Officer
About this position
Responsibilities
Financial Transactions:
• Process and record financial transactions accurately and timely, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
Financial Reporting:
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Perform financial analysis and provide insights on variances, trends, and financial performance to management.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and financial models.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Collaborate with department managers to develop and monitor budgets for their respective areas.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and provide support in budget review and analysis.
• Monitor budgetary performance and provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
Compliance and Audit:
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and company policies.
• Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraudulent activities.
Financial Analysis and Planning:
• Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct financial feasibility studies and provide recommendations for business decisions.
• Assist in financial planning activities, including capital budgeting, investment analysis, and financial risk assessment.
Financial Systems and Processes:
• Participate in the selection and implementation of financial systems and tools.
• Streamline financial processes and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide training and support to team members on financial systems and processes.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field (Master's degree and relevant certifications preferred).
• More than 2 years experience in finance roles, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
• Proficiency in financial software, spreadsheet applications, and ERP systems.
• Experience in battery manufacturing is preferable.
• Able to work at Siam Eastern Industrial Park 2 (SEP2), Pluakdang, Rayong.
• Oral and written skills in Chinese is a plus.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken is preferred.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
• Good written presentation skills, coordination and communication skills, independent analysis and problem solving skills.
