Sr. Graphic Designer
About this position
Responsibilities
• Designing visual concepts for various projects and campaigns, and generating creative ideas that align with the company's branding or the partner's needs. Executing high-quality designs.
• Creating engaging and high-quality designs for various media (digital, print, social media, and others), that meet aesthetic and functional standards.
• Managing design projects from start to finish, including setting priorities, timelines, and ensuring that the work is completed on time.
• Training and mentoring junior or mid-level graphic designers, providing constructive feedback, and helping them develop their design skills.
• Ensuring that all design outputs are consistent with the company's brand guidelines, including the use of logos, colors, fonts, and other elements.
• Collaborating with other departments such as marketing, content, and product to ensure that the designs support the desired communication goals.
• Identifying and addressing complex design issues, and providing creative solutions that align with the project's needs.
• Presenting design concepts to management or clients, including explaining design choices, colors, typography, and other elements.
• Monitoring the latest design trends and technologies to ensure the company's designs remain up-to-date and innovative.
• Ensuring revisions and adjustments are made according to feedback from stakeholders or clients, until the design meets the desired outcome.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, particularly in a creative environment or related industry.
• A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field. Highly relevant experience can substitute for this educational requirement.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) as well as other design software such as Figma, Sketch.
• Skills in 3D design and animation (After Effects) will be a plus.
• A deep understanding of design principles (color, typography, layout, composition) and experience in creating aesthetically pleasing and functional designs.
• Experience in developing and maintaining brand identity consistency. The ability to create comprehensive brand guidelines is a plus.
• Ability to consistently apply brand style across various media and an understanding of responsive design principles.
• A portfolio showcasing a variety of projects relevant to this position, such as branding, social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
• Ability to demonstrate examples of work that are not only visually appealing but also effective in achieving communication goals.
