About this position

The Senior Auditor SCFS is responsible for conducting audits in accordance with various industry standards, evaluating processing operations, developing audit reports, collaborating with teams, mentoring junior auditors, and staying updated on industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits in accordance with MSC (Marine Stewardship Council), CoC (Chain of Custody), BRCGS (Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standards), and FSSC22000 standards.
• Evaluate processing operations to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Develop comprehensive audit reports and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance quality assurance programs.
• Lead and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in food science, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of factory experience in the seafood industry.
• Certifications:
• Completion of Lead Auditor course.
• HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) certification.
• Qualified auditor for MSC, CoC, BRCGS, and FSSC22000.
• Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of seafood processing operations and food safety regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in audit methodologies and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
