About this position
The position of Litigator requires a qualified lawyer with 3-5 years of experience to provide legal advice, represent the company in various courts, and handle legal documentation and research.
Responsibilities
• Provide legal advice on issues raised by internal departments and suggest practical actions/solutions for such problems.
• Responsible for acting as a lawyer in courts (Civil, Criminal, Bankruptcy, Labor, and Administrative Courts).
• Compiling legal information and documentation needed for legal cases and hearings.
• Preparing and drafting court documents.
• Researching and analysing the law on points raised in cases.
• Handling administrative tasks such as filing papers and maintaining and organizing reference files.
• Responsible for and representing the company to mediate with customers at the Office of the Consumer Protection Board (OCPB).
• Prepare, review, revise, and comment on contracts, notices, letters, and other legal documents provided by internal departments or customers.
• Other tasks as may reasonably be required.
Requirements
• Thai lawyer’s license.
• 3-5 years’ experience in the legal field.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degrees in law (LL.B., LL.M., JD or equivalent).
• Experience with an international law firm or legal firm would be an advantage.
• Good presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, self-motivated, systematic thinking, able to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently or as a team with good coordination skills.
