Legal Manager
About this position
The Legal Manager will oversee day-to-day legal operations, provide strategic legal advice, and collaborate with the legal team for various projects while managing corporate and dispute resolution issues.
Responsibilities
• To handle day-to-day operations, e.g. commercial contract review, advertisement & marketing campaign review from legal perspective
• To provide strategic legal advice to local management team in order to mitigate and control the potential business risk
• To collaborate with legal team in Tokyo for strategic planning and potential projects such as M&A deals
• To responsible for potential dispute resolution e.g. labour issue, consumer claims
• To handle corporate issues (BOD, shareholders, registration, and other related matters)
• To handle BOI issues (application for new project, regular report etc)
• To build relationship with related government bodies e.g. FDA (for food safety), Consumer Protection Board (for consumer claims), BOI, MOC (for FBA)
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Law with minimum 10 years post qualification experiences (PQE)
• Thai lawyer license preferred
• Advance language competency in Thai and English
• Management skill
• The ability to find out legal issue and propose the solution proactively
• Can do attitude (work and think with business side as one team)
• Self-motivated individual contributor
