Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the assembly process for the trim and chassis components of vehicles.
• Lead a team of engineers and technicians to develop and implement assembly strategies, optimize production workflows, and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Set up and/or adjust manufacturing processes and assist the manufacturing operations in problem solving and continuous process improvements.
• Assembly Planning: Develop and implement plans for the assembly process, considering factors such as efficiency, quality, and safety. This involves creating detailed schedules, allocating resources, and coordinating with other departments.
• Quality Control: Ensure that the assembly process meets the highest quality standards. This includes implementing quality control measures, conducting inspections, and addressing any issues that may affect the final product's quality.
• Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve assembly processes. This involves identifying areas for optimization, implementing changes, and utilizing lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that assembly processes align with design specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address design or manufacturing issues.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and address any issues that arise during the assembly process. This includes resolving technical problems, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring minimal disruption to production.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle assembly operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisor or chief leader role.
• Interest with work passion in automotive industry, eager to learn, systematic thinking
• Demonstrated superior communication (written and verbal), teamwork, and organizational skills
• Good skill in AutoCAD, Solid Work
• Good skills in English communication and writing (TOEIC 550 up)
