About this position

The Engineer, Process And Part Engineering Quality Assurance 2 position at Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. involves ensuring the quality of supplier parts through engineering analysis and collaboration with various departments to implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of supplier parts through engineering analysis and root cause investigations using the 4M methodology (Man, Machine, Material, Method).
• On-site supplier audit.
• Work closely with various departments to develop effective countermeasures, implement effective countermeasures, to troubleshoot problems, implement solutions to prevent recurrence of issues and validate the effectiveness of supplier solutions.
• Participate external suppliers meeting and auditing.
• Prepare and present summary reports on Part Quality Assurance engineering activities and progress to Engineering Management.
• Collaborate with Nissan Thailand Group and Nissan Motor Ltd. (Japan) to ensure timely achievement of new project milestones.
• Provide updates on new model progress, summarizing supplier part concerns and countermeasures.
• Communicate effectively with the PQA engineering team to ensure supplier parts meet quality standards and align with new project milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 3 years experience in Automotive Quality Assurance or related fields.
• Familiarity with automotive body parts, metal stamping, welding, chassis, powertrain is advantageous.
• Experience in QC 7 tools, Why Why analysis, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), root cause analysis.
• Able to drive a car for external suppliers meeting and auditing.
• Able to communicate, discuss, and present in English (TOEIC score of 550 or higher).
• Logical thinking, analytical skills, problem solving skills & decision making, proactive approach to challenges and learn new things.
• Excellent interpersonal relations, positive attitude, punctuality, responsibility, and the ability to work under high pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and any software of 3D CAD.
