About this position

We are looking for a dedicated Engineer, Parts Arrangement to manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) and optimize parts arrangement for powertrain, trials, and design changes. This role is vital for ensuring efficient production processes and effective collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• BOM Management: Manage and arrange BOM parts for new models, trials, and design changes, ensuring accuracy and availability.
• Collaboration: Participate in project meetings with internal manufacturing teams and Nissan overseas teams, including designers, purchasing, and suppliers, to align on parts specifications and requirements.
• Meeting Organization: Act as the organizer for new model and design change meetings, facilitating communication and decision-making.
• Order Management: Oversee parts control orders and follow up on shipments to ensure timely delivery and effective inventory management.
• Design Change Control: Implement and manage design change processes to ensure all modifications are accurately documented and communicated.
• Trial Part Ordering: Arrange new part orders specifically for trials, ensuring all necessary components are available for testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years experience in Automotive business.
• Experience in parts arrangement or manufacturing engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of BOM concept/structure.
• Strong Logical thinking, analytical skills, problem solving skills & decision making.
• Proactive approach to challenges and learn new things.
• Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, punctuality, and the ability to work under high pressure.
• Able to communicate, discuss, and present in English (TOEIC score of 550 or higher).
