About this position

We are seeking a skilled Engineer, Export Parts Quality Assurance to ensure the quality of export parts, conduct investigations, implement countermeasures, verify their effectiveness, and prevent recurrence.

Responsibilities

What “Engineer, Export Parts Quality Assurance" will do
• Investigate and implement countermeasures for concerns from Nissan overseas plants regarding supplier-purchased parts.
• Support new part approval methodologies, analyze part structure defects, and evaluate 4M changes.
• Cooperate with related functions to identify the real root cause of issues and implement robust countermeasures.
• Decide on product specifications, part checking fixtures, and quality improvements.
• Create summary reports on Part Quality Assurance activities and progress for the Chief Engineer/Manager.
• Control the stability of supplier part quality and perform periodic supplier audits.
• Communicate effectively in English with worldwide customers and suppliers.

Requirements

Qualifications to consider:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• 1-5 years of experience in Automotive Quality Assurance or related fields.
• Experience in supplier audits is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate, discuss, and present in English (TOEIC score of 550 or higher).
• Logical thinking, analytical skills, problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, and a proactive approach to challenges and learning new things.
• Excellent interpersonal relations, positive attitude, punctuality, responsibility, and the ability to work under high pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and any 3D CAD software, such as DWG.
