Engineer, Electronics Quality Evaluation
About this position
The Engineer, Electronics Quality Evaluation position at Nissan Motor Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. involves researching and developing electronic components for vehicles, ensuring quality and cost efficiency, and collaborating with various stakeholders to meet project targets.
Responsibilities
• Research & Develop Electronics-related matters such as audio, meter, body control module, air back control unit to meet the specifications & project's timeline and improve quality cars matching regional market requirements
• Develop Electronics component parts of a vehicle project from physical stage through production according to Nissan development methodologies and processes for vehicle development
• Develop component parts to meet all engineering requirements, create and Green Belt the component development schedule through SOP, support part evaluation and provide effective countermeasures as required
• Benchmark of competitor vehicles related electronic parts related matters
• Validate and confirm supplier's drawing
• Cross functional collaboration with Nissan Japan, suppliers and related parties to meet project target
• Analyze market issue to investigate root cause of issue
• Establish the countermeasure to resolve the issues in actual production
• Participate in quality evaluation and manufacturing activities
• Create value analysis & value engineering (VA&VE) activities to optimize processes and cost to achieve target as a plan
• Manage localization parts to achieve quality, cost and delivery target
• Benchmark of competitor & Nissan global model to achieve cost competitive
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering
• 1-3 years of experience in engineering field in automotive industry
• Experience working in a multicultural environment is an advantage
• Project Management, Problem Solving, Presentation
• Car Driving
• Good English communication, TOEIC score: above 600
