Assistant Technical Manager / Manager (Powder Paint Business)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Assist the Technical Manager in planning and executing powder coating processes and quality control measures.
• Material analysis and design for product development.
• Formulation design for new product development.
• Problem analysis and solving.
• Design of experiment (DOE) & Planner
• Monitor equipment performance and provide recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to powder coating applications.
• Collaborate with other departments to support operational efficiency and product development.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in industrial Engineer, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years experience in R&D and laboratory management in the powder paint business.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Presentable with ability to lead, inspire, and motivate.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellence in English communication both in writing and speaking.
• Good computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
