About this position

The Tax Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing tax compliance and planning, accounting and financial reporting, and providing business advisory services to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance and Planning
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all corporate tax returns, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax benefits while maintaining compliance with regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to assess their impact on the business.
• Accounting and Financial Reporting.
• Oversee general accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with local and international standards.
• Collaborate with auditors and regulatory authorities during financial and tax audits.
• Business Advisory
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making in the title loan and insurance brokerage sectors.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost efficiency.
• Act as a consultant on tax-related matters for business operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or other relevant certifications are a plus).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in financial services or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• This role is critical in aligning financial practices with the organization’s operation.
