About this position

The Data Quality Specialist (Data Engineer) is responsible for ensuring data quality and implementing standards and procedures related to data management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data quality and metadata standards, procedures and policies.
• Collaborate with business units and data stewards to define and enforce data quality.
• Design and maintain a centralized metadata repository.
• Ensure data lineage, definitions, and classifications are accurately documented.
• Conduct metadata audits and implement improvement.
• Assist in Technical support in Data Governance Policy, Standard, Procedure design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Information Management, Computer Science, Statistics).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data quality management or a similar role.
• Familiar with Banking or Financial industry.
• Proficiency in metadata modeling and schema design.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
