About this position
Responsibilities
• Manage sales operations within the East area coverage, including Jawa Timur, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara, reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Break down sales targets for all sales representatives in the region and monitor their daily achievement.
• Develop and implement a distribution area mapping for each salesperson across the East area.
• Create and enforce daily visit schedules for sales representatives based on minimum standards.
• Monitor and evaluate the activities of the sales team within the assigned territories.
• Coordinate the sales team to improve performance and ensure sales targets are consistently met.
• Train and support the sales team in identifying, serving, and maintaining relationships with customers in the East area.
• Assist in resolving sales team issues, including accompanying them to address customer concerns in the region.
• Provide regular team sales reports (weekly, monthly, and yearly) specific to the East area performance to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Monitor sales performance and customer payments in the East area to ensure timely collections.
• Ensure pricing tiers are implemented correctly by sales representatives and distributors within the region.
• Oversee and implement promotions tailored to the East area's market needs, in alignment with Sales, Marketing, or Trade Marketing guidelines.
• Communicate information about new product sales to the team, focusing on strategies relevant to the East area's demographics.
• Control and enhance customer buying behavior in the region to increase repeat orders.
• Handle and manage key Pareto outlets in Jawa Timur, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors within the East area.
• Oversee and assist in resolving distributor receivables in the region.
• Monitor competitor activities in Jawa Timur, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara and prepare monthly reports for management.
• Propose and execute sales strategies specifically tailored to the East area's market dynamics.
• Plan and execute promotional events in the East area to boost regional sales performance.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel and sales reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently and travel within the coverage area.
• Familiarity with FMCG, retail, or similar industries is an advantage.
