About this position

The Senior Accountant (GL & Tax) is responsible for managing accounting closing activities, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting audits while maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing activities in accordance with timeframe of the group’s requirements.
• Responsible general accounting functions, such as posting data, maintaining accounting records, ensure proper allocation to the correct departments or cost centers, Filing Document etc.
• Responsible for the overall monthly bank account reconciliation and WHT
• Responsible for local Tax filing and Compliance for direct and indirect tax (CIT, VAT, Withholding Tax and BOI)
• Provide support for internal audit, statutory audit.
• Submit monthly report to Excise Department.
• Perform other accounting and finance tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• At least 5-year experience in closing the monthly/yearly account
• Having experience in tax and compliance.
• Having experience in SAP program is very preferable.
• CPD License is a must.
• Good communication skill and able to work under pressure.
