The Sales Planning Manager is responsible for developing sales plans, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with sales objectives.
Responsibilities
• Develop comprehensive sales plans aligned with company objectives.
• Analyze market trends, customer demand, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
• Allocate sales targets and quotas for the sales team.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts based on historical data, market analysis, and industry trends.
• Monitor sales performance against forecasts and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and finance teams to ensure alignment with sales plans.
• Coordinate with supply chain and production teams to ensure product.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track sales performance and KPIs.
• Provide the sales team with tools, resources, and insights to achieve their targets.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in sales planning, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and forecasting.
• Proficiency in sales planning software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
