Product Manager

The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and lifecycle of products, conducting market research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful product launches.
Responsibilities
• Market Research and Analysis: Product managers conduct extensive market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes. They analyze data to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements to existing ones.
• Product Development: They collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to define product specifications, features, and functionalities. This involves creating product roadmaps and timelines for development cycles.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Product managers work with various departments, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure alignment and successful product launches. They often act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.
• Strategic Planning: They contribute to the strategic direction of the product line, including pricing strategies, positioning, and market entry strategies. This involves setting long-term goals and KPIs for product success.
• Customer Engagement: Engaging with customers and gathering feedback is essential. Product managers conduct focus groups, surveys, and user testing to understand user experiences and improve product offerings.
• Lifecycle Management: They oversee the entire product lifecycle, from conception through development, launch, and post-launch evaluation. This includes managing product updates and phase-outs as necessary.
• Innovation and Trends: Staying abreast of technological advancements (like electric vehicles, autonomous driving, etc.) and industry trends is vital. Product managers drive innovation by incorporating new technologies and features into their products.
• Performance Monitoring: After a product launch, product managers analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market performance to evaluate the product’s success and make informed decisions for future improvements.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive industry.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Skills for prioritizing tasks and multitasking skills.
