Responsibilities

• Identify career, training and development needs with line managers.
• Prepare annual Training & Development Budget and Plan for staff level in consultation with HR Manager to ensure staff has adequate training to fulfill their job and meet business requirements.
• Co-ordinate with Corporate Training for overseas, workshop, seminar and Corporate Training courses.
• Facilitate and conduct in-house training such as English courses, Soft Skills courses for Commercial/Factory staff, Factory functional training, company orientation, manufacturing session on teamwork, services, positive attitude and cross-functional teamwork session.
• Evaluate and summarise training programme and instructor and follow up to track training effectiveness from committed action plan, HOD comments and staff performance improvement.
• Maintain training records.
• Administer training work process on in-house, external and overseas courses by preparing document for payment.
• Update or report monthly training status and upcoming month training courses to HOD.
• Arrange for training materials, equipments, meeting room, coffee break, etc.
• Validate scholarship applications and arrange the interview with HR managers and lines managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years' experience in training and development.
• Proficiency in English language skills.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Knowledge and experience in interviewing techniques.
• Understanding of basic principles and concepts of industrial psychology.
• Familiarity with relevant labor laws and regulations.
