Responsibilities

• Plan the annual safety & environment program at the plant for the Manager's approval.
• Arrange for an agenda and conduct monthly meetings of the safety and environment, and 5S committees at the plant.
• Control annual safety & environment and 5S programs of the plant to ensure the execution and compliance with Nestle corporate/market standards and government laws and regulations.
• Provide periodic reports on safety & environment and 5S issues to concerned departments and to external parties such as Labour Welfare Department, Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, Department of Industrial Work, provincial government officers, etc.
• Participate in accident and near-miss accident and environment investigations to determine causes and propose preventive and corrective actions.
• Create tools, kits and instructions on safety at the plant to be in line with Nestle corporate/ market standards and government laws and regulations, as needed.
• Ensure that safety equipment is properly implemented at the plant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent; certified as 'Professional Safety Officer'.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience.
• Communicable in English.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing.
• Service minded, flexible, and work well under pressure with minimum supervision.
