Channel Development Manager (General Trade) - Grocery Sales

Responsibilities
• Develop and drive the specific Channel (across prioritized categories) plan with defined Channel initiatives including Retailer Engagement Program, including post evaluation against agreed KPIs.
• Develop clear execution and activation guidance to ensure alignment of Customer Specific Plans within overall Channel strategy and plan ie. MT Tailored made promotion.
• Responsible and accountable for an implementation of the picture of success for the channel/shop type in each category and work with Category Manager to define picture of success, based on Nestle strategy, shopper/channel relevance. Support its implementation through Channel Programs and continuously review the effectiveness of our in-store actions.
• Manage and execute aligned Category and Channel monthly activities with given monthly channel priorities.
• Responsible and accountable for end-to-end communication flow of channel plan across channel team.
• Support the development of NPD Trade Launch materials as an input to category development and selling story to reflect customer language, especially TT channel.
• Accountable and Responsible for sourcing, updating and communicating latest developments, trends, initiatives and competitive actions within the channel, assessing implications/opportunities for Nestle categories and brands as well as apply to DA JBP (applicable to TT channel only).
• Accountable and responsible for conducting promotion and channel program evaluation to facilitate category plan in a channel to category development team (applicable to TT channel only).
• Responsible for providing sell out data analysis with implication and recommendation to Channel Manager, Regional Manager and Regional Sales Promotion Executive to facilitate the Development of Category Sales Strategy in the channel as well as input to ICP (applicable to TT channel only).
• Lead discussion with TT channel manager and Regional Manager to understand full year outlook number vs target as well as risk/opportunity/gap closing activities. Be representative of TT team in SPR with category development team (applicable to TT channel only).
• Responsible for ensuring adherence to all company principles and policies.
• Ensure compliance of team’s activities with the WHO Code, local code and the Nestlé Instructions.
Requirements
• At least Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or other related fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Category Development, or Channel Development.
• Demonstrable record of success in a customer facing role.
• Understands customers and the selling process
• Strong knowledge in Traditional Trade
