Head of Area
About this position
Joining Nestlé means you are joining the largest food and Beverage Company in the world. As Head of Area, you will be responsible to achieve sales growth in both category and channel within the assignment area through excellence distributor operation.
Responsibilities
• Implement sales strategies and tactic to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual area sales value result.
• Lead, develop and manage distributor operations related, including proper distributor infrastructure facilities, and manpower i.e. salesman, merchandiser, sub distributor, Mitra wholesaler, sales representative office, to achieve sales target.
• Manage salesman productivity ie Effective Call, SKUs sold, customer base, active outlet, NOO, Drop size and established proper rewards system.
• Establish store, especially in key customers with proper supports (of people and activities), with continuously review the effectiveness of our in-store actions.
• Define effective coverage, AVA & Non-Direct to support infrastructure for the area.
• Ensure KPI's implementation and Distributor Grading Implementation through Distributors team (close coordination, regular review).
• Managing market and responsible to provide quality and on-time information on demand forecast by customer, report on market dynamics, competitor activities.
• Managing other issues related area, smooth handling of any consumers complaint, local authorities and territory improvement projects.
• Define strategies and plan to reduce Market Return with close coordination with regions related team to ensure the flawless distributor claim process.
• Monitor and Track distributor invoice settlement to avoid overdue cases.
• Ensure adherence to all company and government principles, policy and regulation.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from any majors.
• Experienced minimum 2 years in commercial (Sales/ Marketing) are preferably.
• Willing to be assign all across Indonesia.
• Hold active driving license (SIM A).
• Demonstrated ability to lead sales team.
• Capacity to understands field sales functions (Territory Management, distributor business process, Salesman productivity, excellence in execution at All Channel, etc.).
• Preferably had experience in managing Field Sales team (e.g., Sales co distributor).
• Eager and have courage to speak in English can be a plus point.
