About this position

Be a force for good with Nestlé Indonesia by playing the role as a First Line Manager, you will be responsible for delivering shift and line objectives by empowering and engaging people to develop their capability. You will ensure that the production plan is fully achieved on time and in compliance with internal and external requirements, meeting safety, quality, cost, delivery, and environmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely deployment of the People Development Plan and assure the competencies of your team as per the agreed plan with the Production Manager, including proper training on equipment, safety procedures, and hygiene.
• Enforce strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by all personnel within the shift.
• Ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the working areas, ensuring all installations are in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Lead the Safety Culture and ensure conditions for a Safe Working Environment. Check and enforce personnel hygiene and safety procedures.
• Ensure continuous line controls and immediate corrective actions to assure prescribed quality and compliance with manufacturing instructions.
• Maintain smooth factory operations through effective employee and industrial relations management.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least bachelor’s degree in engineering background.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a functional role in the food industry.
• Demonstrated leadership ability by leading a project within a factory environment.
• Experience in managing and engaging/motivating people.
• Good attitude to work and ability to interact with people.
• Ability to positively confront and effectively deal with non-compliance.
• Strong soft skills, including communication, coaching, and developing others.
• Preferably Supervisor / Coordinator specialized in Engineering – Industrial or equivalent.
• Willing to be place in Bandaraya Factory, Central Java with shift rotation working arrangement.
