Corporate Communications Lead

Joining Nestlé means you are joining the largest food and Beverage Company in the world. As a Corporate Communications Lead, you are responsible to enhance and strengthen Nestlé’s reputation as a recognized leader in Nutrition, Health and Wellness (NHW).
Responsibilities
• Promote and protect Nestle’s reputation and integrity in the marketplace
• Develop and execute integrated corporate communication strategies with emphasis on Nutrition, Health & Wellbeing, Sustainability & Creating Shared Value, Nestle purpose and value; provide expert communications advice and guidance to management and other functions/business
• Corporate spokesperson; manage media requests and stories, accountable for crisis communication efforts and provide guidance during sensitive issues or incidents
• Manage Internal & External Communication channels, including speakership, awards, press releases, internal newsletter, corporate website and social media platforms
• Effectively lead, motivate and develop the communication team, including succession planning
• Identify and monitor public issues which influence public perceptions; mobilize internal and external networks to manage and mitigate issues
• Supervise and steer all communication team activities: internal and external communication, media relations selected stakeholder management; crisis management and CSV initiatives; including support in NHW strategic implementation
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in strategic communications roles, especially in multinational companies, with expertise in handling issue and crisis reputation management.
• Has a wide network in media, including senior editors, with experience in managing budgets, agency relationships, and negotiations.
• Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing, with a particular strength in writing and presentation skills.
• Experience of working in different business functions or across industries.
• Experience of senior-level negotiations and conflict management.
• Team management experience, in particular the management of specialists.
• Has analytical thinking and attention to details.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with authorities and industry networks.
• Understanding of the food industry and its related issues, legislation, opportunities, and challenges.
• Deep understanding of influence networking and channel strategy
