About this position

The Coffee Bard at Emquatier, Nespresso, is responsible for providing personalized coffee recommendations, training colleagues, and enhancing customer experiences through education and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide "personalized coffee recommendations" to increase loyalty for new and fragile customers.
• Engaging in an informal, relaxed and conversational style which allows customer to exhibit their passion for coffee and inspiring customers to try something new and being generous with time and expertise.
• Regularly train colleagues on coffee, Nespresso value chain and the delivery of Nespresso unique tasting rituals.
• Organize and deliver Masterclasses along the week in the Boutique to provide customers with outstanding experiences around coffee.
• Educate customers and staff on Nespresso brand, products, services and sustainability commitment - with a strong focus on coffee and Nespresso coffee.
• Manage customers’ requests, objections and complaints.
• Contribute to the sales of the entire Nespresso portfolio available in the Boutique (coffee, machines, accessories, promotions and services) and maximize the value of purchase proactively (via upselling & cross-selling).

Requirements

• Experience in coffee industry is a plus.
• Experience in direct customer sales of premium products and services at least 3 years.
• Proven track record of developing sales and strong customer relationships.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
