Business Development Manager (Prima Marine Plc.)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Study and analyze new business opportunities or emerging industries with growth potential (New S-Curve Business) that can generate long-term revenue in Thailand, beyond the company group's core business (Non-Related Business).
• Plan and develop strategies for entering new markets and create business models that add value and drive long-term growth.
• Research and evaluate business feasibility and market expansion opportunities, including reviewing project data and readiness in four key areas: marketing, finance, technical, and legal, to assess the viability of each project.
• Analyze investment projects (Project Investment Analysis) by evaluating the project's ability to be executed, including economic investment return (EIRR), cash flow, return rate, payback period, and investment value estimation.
• Assess project risks, develop risk management plans, and ensure compliance with regulations, internal policies, and guidelines.
• Present business plans to management and the board of directors for project approval or to report on project progress.
• Monitor and measure success by establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting performance results to management, including analyzing and improving projects.
• Gather project feasibility data and assess readiness when launching new investment projects, and assist in creating Joint Venture Agreements.
• Monitor project progress and control project execution according to the plan, manage issues, and prepare evaluation reports and lessons learned after project completion.
• Collaborate in assessing risks in marketing, technical, financial, and legal aspects of each project with the risk management department and relevant teams.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Innovation, Project Management, Project Development, or related fields.
• 8-10 years of experience in business development, project management, or new project development (New S-Curve), or market expansion, or at least 5 years of experience in project management.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial position, or equivalent.
