Responsibilities
• Follow up plan and regulate the policy of the work, as well as monitoring and control the work of the team in accordance with the established plan.
• Co-operate to make the APQP of new projects with the Cross Functional Team and follow up the APQP plan.
• Defect improvements during the Pre-Mass Production and Mass-Production trials periods.
• Analyze and propose optimization methods to increase productivity.
• Support the design of tools and equipment for improving the quality of the products.
• Control the plan of Pre-Production and Mass Production New Part to comply with the APQP plan.
• Support the training and development of both the technical, knowledge and skills of the team in the department.
• Analyze the causes and solutions of poor-quality work in the production process.
• Supervise the provision of information and answer questions to internal and external agencies.
• Establish operational standards for each process and establish standards for the use of machine settings in the production process.
• Study and analyze cycle time (CT) for the improvement of the production capacity of each process.
• Assist Process Improvement Supervisor in any strategic initiative that will help in compliance to standards, implementing new systems, and designing creative solutions that will continuously improve the plant.
• Work with safety, quality, production, maintenance and engineering team to improve a strong culture that reduces non-value-added waste / improves customer cycle times and services / enhances machine efficiency improvement.
• Implement/maintain SHE (Safety, Health and Environment), ISO/TS16949, OHSAS 18001, ISO14001 and Safety & Environment at workplace.
• Maintain visual performance tools assisting all teams as needed to ensure improvements are made and sustained.
• Others responsibility assigned by area manager.
Requirements
• High Vocational Certificate’s degree or bachelor’s degree or related field in Engineering or related field, based on department or plant focus.
• At least 2 years’ experience in Tooling / Quality / Production / Maintenance or Engineering department.
• English language in intermediate level.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
