About this position

We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in project management, ideally within the insurance industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our business needs and technology solutions, while also leading and coordinating projects to ensure successful implementation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and evolving field with a strong emphasis on strategic planning and execution.

Responsibilities

Business Analysis
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into clear and concise documentation, including use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Participate in testing activities to validate that the proposed solutions meet business requirements.
• Facilitate communication between business and technology teams to bridge any gaps and facilitate a seamless project workflow.

Project Management
• Plan, execute, and oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, on quality, and within budget.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables and create comprehensive project plans.
• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and maintain project documentation.

Insurance Expertise (preferred)
• Leverage insurance industry knowledge to provide insights into industry trends and best practices.
• Develop a deep understanding of insurance products, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong background in project management at least 5 years.
• Prior experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of software development and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes.
