About this position

The Procurement Strategy Specialist is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, ensuring compliance, and managing supplier relationships to drive financial advantages and sustainability within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive and track compliance, as well as link with sourcing team for policies and procedures
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for corporate goods and service
• Consolidate, analyze, and report on BU Procurement metrics for business reviews
• Provide BU level input to category strategies (Central Sourcing) and support implementation of aligned strategies
• Collaborate with the Enterprise processes such as Supplier Quality, Supplier Risk and Supplier Management
• Develop strong and effective working relationships with business needs into category sourcing plans, and ensure successful implementation and execution.
• Ensure supplier relationship management, and supplier performance management practices are in place and managed.
• Drive financial advantages, product quality, innovation and the sustainability agenda
• Support Procurement implementation, Policy, Procedures, which ensure that Citizen attains cost of value, complies with internal and external regulations and delivers Social Value to the communities in which it operates.
• Develop Excel workbooks and databases to collate, manipulate and analyse spend data and information the Procurement team to make business decisions and inform the business.
• Budget control and review cycle, including tracking of budget, financial activities, and status of each project budget across fiscal years, authorizations, appropriations, and expenditures
• Develop annual program, reconcile and revise plans against actual travel expenditures, and prepare status and affordability report
• Lead and manage high value and strategic procurement projects and improvement process, Coordinate for Corporate projects align with the policy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business, Statistic or related field, MBA is preferred
• 5+ years of procurement or purchasing experience
• Experience in various roles within Procurement functions
• Excellent skills: verbal, written, presentation.
• Strategic skills with ability to see issues from multiple viewpoints
• Demonstrated skills in communication and complex negotiations
• Good command of English is preferred
• Have computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel (Pivot, VLookup), Access etc.
• Have analytical skills
• Be a responsible person and Flexible working ability
