Warranty and Claims Specialist
About this position
Responsibilities
• Assess and authorize Warranty & Service/Extended online manual claim assessments and claim authorizations based on client's rules and guidelines
• Monitor and approve warranty claim requests and monitor pay-out values
• Monitor and approve special claim requests
• Monitor incoming claim requests via SAP on-line systems
• Maintain communication with various client internal personnel and provide status reports when and where necessary on relevant warranty matters
• Make system modifications for new vehicle registration dates
• Receive revise request from authorized dealers on mileage
• Conduct CS-related activities, payment control and creation of the monitoring report
• Data input of the Service order and payment control
• Response to the IDS inquiry from the authorized dealer
• Support the team with various administrative duties, such as Warranty Parts Return, responding to authorized dealer requests and enquiries
• Monitor IDS inquiries from authorized dealers.
• Respond to authorized dealer enquiries specific to warranty & Service claims
• Support authorized dealer enquiries with modifications to warranty & Service claims
• Provide explanations to authorized dealers on claim approval & non-approval judgements
• Respond to and support authorized dealer enquiries with special campaign information
• Coordinate with internal client counterparts regarding specific decisions and trends on special warranty claims
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warranty claims management, automotive service, or a related field.
• Experience with automotive warranty systems, preferably SAP online systems, is a significant advantage
• Strong understanding of automotive warranty processes, terms, and conditions.
• Familiarity with SAP Warranty systems and claims management.
• Proficiency in monitoring, evaluating, and authorizing warranty claims based on specific guidelines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate claim assessments and approvals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with authorized dealers.
