Business Development Specialist
About this position
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for tracking market movements, securing new business premises, and maintaining relationships with landlords and business entities to ensure positive returns.
Responsibilities
• To track competitor’s activities, market movement concerning businesses related to the industries;
• Responsible for the planning and securing of new business premises for the company;
• Highly organised, data-driven with analytical skills and expertise to find landlords;
• Undertake tenancy negotiations for new tenancies, renewal of tenancies or terminations;
• Proactively establish, maintain and develop good rapport with all landlords and business entities;
• Consistently conduct feasibility study on the performance of the outlets and propose solutions for improvement to ensure positive returns.
• To ensure tenancy designs comply with the company’s corporate identity and proper documents required,
• To be a contact point between landlords, designers, and contractors pertaining to renovation works;
• Coordination of site work and conducting site visits to monitor the site progress to ensure that the compliance and completion schedule are met;
• Work closely with the corporate office from time to time
• KPI 40 branches/year and increasing 5% for next year
• During probation, MOU 4 must be approved.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
• 2–5 years of minimum experience in related fields.
• Experience in the retail business is preferable.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must have a car to be able to travel all over the country.
