About this position

The Safety Inspector will be Represent Momentive EHS base at construction site assist Momentive EHS and responsible for day-to-day field inspection, issuing unsafe report or any safety concern, giving safety guidance to the construction teams. They collaborate with the construction manager to identify ways to reduce the exposure to hazards when they have been recognized. Deploy all company Safety, Health, and Environmental management programs to construction sites with project team and contractors’ company to check whether all the safety measures are complied with the standard before and during execution work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct day to day safety inspection at both construction and non-construction boundary and summary unsafe finding and follow up until completion.
• Conducted safety review to method statement and detail safety control plan review for High-Risk Activities before execution.
• Conduct day to day field verification to structure and equipment installation work,
maintained daily Safety Work Permit verification list and check before starting work to ensure that all HRA work comply with Risk Control Plan.
• Deploy MPM standard SWP approval procedure for all HRA work.
• Support project site access and security work control as assigned by Momentive EHS.
• Lead incident investigation by using approved investigation methodology and follow up action from investigation.
• Support EHS specialist to develop SWP control to readiness for commissioning and operation phase.
• Others EHS job assigned by line manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & Safety or any related Engineering fields. (Safety Officer Professional Level by Thai Labor Law)
• Strong in Thai regulatory requirements related with construction project.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in safety management, Experience in Greenfield construction and safety project management will be advantage.
• Computer literacy on MS office
• Good communication of English.
