About this position
We seek a certified FSAI (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries of Indonesia) to join our general insurance company as Actuary Head. This role involves leading the actuarial division, managing risks, calculating reserves, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
• Led and managed the actuarial team in developing general insurance products.
• Calculate and monitor technical reserves following OJK regulations and PSAK standards.
• Conducted risk analysis and provided strategic recommendations to management.
• Prepare actuarial reports for regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Develop actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and profitability analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and actuarial professional standards.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance, Underwriting, and IT, to develop business solutions.
Requirements
• Certified FSAI (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries of Indonesia).
• At least 10 years of experience in actuarial roles, particularly in general insurance.
• Strong understanding of OJK regulations related to general insurance.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in actuarial software (e.g., Prophet, ResQ, or others).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Preferably experienced in product development and risk management in general insurance.
