Sr.EHS&RBA Officer
Responsibilities
• Ensure that employees comply with regulations and manuals on occupational health, safety, and the work environment of the company.
• Work closely with relevant functions to implement applicable occupational health and safety practices in operations in order to reduce and prevent recurrence of near-missed incidents and accidents.
• Arrange an annual workshop/sessions to enhance occupational health and safety capability of relevant colleagues.
• Develop and maintain systematic database to capture needed occupational health and safety indicators for reporting purpose.
• Educate, assess, audit and improve tier 1 and non-tier 1 suppliers’ performance on occupational health and safety.
• Arrange educational workshops on occupational health and safety for targeted suppliers.
• Maintain online occupational health and safety assessment of targeted suppliers.
• On-site/remotely audit targeted suppliers on occupational health and safety with issued improvement plans where needed.
• Regularly follow up and cooperate with targeted suppliers to continually improve their occupational health and safety non-conformities.
• Update on applicable occupational health and safety laws, regulations and standards.
• Keep up-to-date applicable occupational health and safety laws, regulations and standards to ensure companies and its suppliers’ compliances and continual improvement against those laws, regulations and standards.
• Collect statistics, prepare reports, and provide recommendations on work-related hazards, illnesses, or incidents to the company’s management.
• Ensure onboarding of new employees on occupational and environmental illnesses/risks before commencing work and during work, with periodic knowledge reviews at least once a year.
• Perform other safety-related tasks as assigned by the company.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in occupational health and safety or related fields or higher.
• Minimum 5 year experience as Safety Officer at the Professional Level.
• Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing).
• Good interpersonal skill and able to communicate to all levels.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and able to work in high-demand situations.
• Self-learning and eager to learn new things.
• Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to foster trust relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Skill in networking with external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Thai regulations in Environmental, Health and Safety.
• Knowledge and experiences of HDD in Electronic business.
• Ability to write and maintain Safety Manual and Occupational Safety Standard Operating Procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
