Food Supply Chain & Logistic Manager (Fresh food / Chilled food)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including production, sales, and finance, to ensure seamless operations and alignment of supply chain activities with business objectives.
• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with logistics partners to streamline transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to supply chain operations.
• Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience at least 7-10 years in supply chain management, logistics, or operations leadership roles. (Fresh food/ Chilled food)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain software systems and data analytics tools.
