Legal and Employee Relation Specialist
About this position
The Legal and Employee Relation Specialist is responsible for managing labor relations, providing advice on ethical management practices, and fostering a positive work environment. The role requires a strong understanding of labor laws, company regulations, and employee relations.
Responsibilities
• Learn and understand the organization to gain useful information for effective work, including company policies, management systems, rules, guidelines of the Labor Relations Division, organizational culture, production processes, and products.
• Study the work processes in other departments of the Human Resources Department and general administration, including labor laws and other related regulations.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of labor laws, company regulations, and various requirements to manage labor relations appropriately according to the situation and business operations.
• Serve as a consultant and provide advice to supervisors on ethical management practices that comply with company regulations and related laws.
• Foster and develop a positive labor relations atmosphere, cultivating a good attitude among employees towards the organization. Provide recommendations and support to help employees maintain a good quality of life and work with happiness, confidence, and pride in the organization.
• Execute labor relations tasks according to plans and standards set by the company, including conducting investigations, determining disciplinary actions, and preparing investigation records.
• Ensure accurate and compliant employee leave management according to company regulations.
• Supervise general orderliness in the workplace and organize activities that promote good labor relations to achieve the objectives of the Human Resources and Administration Division's action plan.
• Prepare reports summarizing necessary information for labor relations to keep as statistical references and assist in future work planning.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• More than 5 years working experience in human resources, more than 3 years working experience as ER role in large enterprises is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive issues with tact and discretion.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to build trust and maintain confidential information.
• Enjoys learning new things in the field of Industrial Relation
• Communicates well in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canvas and other relevant software.
