IT Infrastructure and Network Manager
About this position
Responsibilities
• Designing and implementing network infrastructure.
• Configuring network systems, such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or similar network devices.
• Managing organizational intranet systems, including inter-office connectivity.
• Implementing network security solutions such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
• Ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2, or other IT regulations.
• Overseeing virtualization and Cloud Infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Configuring and managing monitoring and alerting systems.
• Planning, executing, and overseeing projects.
• Evaluating and improving the efficiency of network and infrastructure processes.
• Identifying risks and managing incidents effectively.
• Coaching and developing team members.
• Negotiating with vendors and managing the procurement of networking equipment.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• At least 10 years of experience in computer networking.
• At least 5 years of experience in team of people management.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in network infrastructure such as LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewall, Load Balancer, and Cloud Networking.
• Good command in English and Japanese Communication is preferable.
• Professional Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), ITIL Foundation Certificate, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
• Prior experience in large manufacturing organizations or high-security industries such as finance or healthcare.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
