Responsibilities

• Quality Management System Oversight :
• Monitor, report, and drive improvements in the quality management system to ensure compliance with standards such as GMP, HACCP, FMEA, ISO9001, ISO22716, ISO14001, HALAL, Organic, RSPO, and social accountability standards like SMETA, BSCI, and SA8000.
• Communicate updates, deviations, and issues from established quality standards to management, providing solutions to prevent problems and drive continuous organizational improvement.

• Supplier Audits and Management :
• Lead audits for new and existing suppliers, ensuring compliance with the company’s quality standards.

• Certification and Regulatory Compliance :
• Take the lead in obtaining and maintaining new quality certifications according to industry regulations and standards.
• Oversee the process of certification renewal and ensure ongoing compliance with quality assurance programs.

• Quality Issue Investigation and Corrective Actions :
• Coordinate with relevant departments to conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence of issues related to customer complaints. Additionally, prepare complaint reports to provide responses to customers.
• Communicate quality concerns to management.

• Conducting Quality Mind training for all departments in the factory.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific field, particularly in chemistry or pharmaceuticals or chemical engineering. Special consideration will be given to candidates with advanced degrees in cosmetics.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, including quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO22716, ISO/IEC17025, HACCP), inspection and audit, preferably in the cosmetic manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with or experience in certification system such as Organic, RSPO, Halal.
• Proven experience in managerial position and demonstrating strong leadership and managerial skills, including the ability to motivate team.
• Experience in promoting collaboration and accountability is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of laboratory testing techniques for cosmetics, including microbial testing, packaging and supplier audit.
• Proficient in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and corrective / preventive actions (CAPA).
• Knowledge quality system.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
• Good command in speaking, listening, and writing in English.
