About this position

The Sustainability Officer for the Region will serve as a leader who has a passion for sustainability and a strong commitment to help realize our vision of All Sustainable development through environmental & social/societal actions that deliver a better future to both society and the planet.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the process to design the 2030 Michelin All sustainable goals in the region based on the 2030 Group 3P scorecard, be part of Michelin shifts and region-specific sustainability issues.
• Contribute through various frameworks to steer and report progress and results on initiatives and levers for achieving 2030 All sustainable goals to the regional steering committee (ED) and central DCDI.
• Build a Sustainability Roadmap at the regional level.
• Represent the Group and the region to external and internal stakeholders and elevate Michelin’s profile as a recognized leader on sustainability topics.
• Act as a key account manager for topics related to our External Engagement strategy, beyond our operations (such as sustainable mobility).
• Promote and foster the development/anchoring of competencies on All Sustainable.
• Act as center of expertise to coordinate and support sustainability actions within the Region: leading point of contact for customers on CSR, employee engagement through awareness programs, manage ad hoc projects in sustainability.

Requirements

• Collaborate and adapt in an evolving, multinational, multicultural context, leveraging experience and judgment to plan and to mobilize matrixed resources.
• Report to the Chief Administration Officer of region and functionally to the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) in the Corporate Sustainable Development and Impact Department (DCDI).
• Cover sustainability activities within and beyond our operations, comprising Michelin impact to the environment.
