About this position

The Natural Rubber Quality Engineer is responsible for managing the approval of raw materials, addressing customer complaints, and analyzing quality anomalies to ensure compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all key activities leading to the approval of raw materials, ensuring every step aligns with our procedures and standards.
• Be the voice of quality in handling customer complaints and nonconformities.
• Analyze natural rubber quality anomalies, spearhead internal corrective actions, evaluate supplier responses, and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.

Raw Material Approval Management
• Collaborate with natural rubber experts to obtain projects approval.
• Monitor industrial trials and laboratory tests, analyze and synthesize test results.
• Keep meticulous records of approvals.
• Leverage knowledge of products and suppliers to facilitate the process of approvals.
• Ensure codes and statuses are accurately created or updated in the Michelin system, leveraging on expert support.
• Manage the implementation of CPN and CPE tests to ensure timely completion.
• Develop and optimize blending rules for carbon black, synthetic elastomers, and natural rubber under domain’s expert guidance.

Raw Material Nonconformity Treatment
• Analyze anomalies from reception and control product implementation, using appropriate methodological tools if necessary.
• Provide detailed and timely responses to issuers of quality discrepancies.
• Facilitate technical exchanges with our Michelin factories and our supplier.
• Identify causes of raw material anomalies, verify and implement corrective actions, and monitor their effectiveness.
• Leverage on the existing knowledge of products and suppliers to address quality defects.
• Support mass production issues by investigating problems.

Requirements

• Graduated Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering (Rubber, Chemical, Mechanical, Production, etc.)
• Experience 1-3 years in the field of Quality Control/Guarantee, new graduates are also welcome.
• Preferable skills: Problem-solving, Analytical, Communication.
• Native speaker of Thai with good English communication.
